I'll go with Thunder & Lightning for the Gorham & Sykes guitar dueling and great heavy songwriting. Most will probably not regard it as their best, but it's the one I enjoy the most. Goddamn!
Ps. Had to limit it to the Gorham era due to the limited amount of poll options. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

| Thunder and Lightning is killer for sure, their most heavy metal album. Angel of Death from Renegade is their heaviest song though, I listened to it so much as a little kid, still one of my favourite songs on earth. Black Rose is where most of the NWOBHM bands took their twin guitar styles and itīs one strong album as well! Anyway, today I felt like voting for Chinatown, thereīs just that something in the backbeat of tracks like Killer on the loose. |

Johnny the Fox by far. "Don't believe a word" is my favourite TL song. _________________ Great deals with: Orionized, DEVORADOR DE PLAGAS, Mental Funeral, MEDICAL_WASTE

| I picked Johnny the Fox since Vagabonds of the Western World wasn't included. |

| Black Rose by far. Gary Moore's only studio album with the band + all great songs. |

I recommend the documentary "Inside Thin Lizzy" to those who wants to dig into the history of the band. It's pretty good and easy to find on youtube. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |

S&M = best lyrics ever written
Am I alone in thinking the last two are a real decline in quality from the stream of almost perfect albums preceding it? Both have their moments, but Thunder and Lightening is by far their weakest output in my eyes, very un-Lizzy like! |

| Tough choice here, but I voted for Bad Reputation. Johnny the Fox and Thunder and Lightning are a close second for me. |

No way man ! Sure, it's a bit more metal than their other stuff, but the songs are killer. I think the title track is just okay, and "Bad Habits" is annoying as hell, but everything else on there I think is a 10/10. |

Very hard to choose between Nightlife, Johnny The Fox, Black Rose and Bad Reputation. I'll go with Nightlife though since it has a great variety of all the different sounds of Thin Lizzy. You can't go wrong with any of their stuff though. Phil was a genius songwriter/story teller. _________________ Trade/Sale List

I'd say that about Chinatown and Renegade. Thunder and Lightning on the other hand contains some of the best tracks the band ever wrote including the title track, The Sun Goes Down, Cold Sweat and The Holy War. _________________ http://www.dissectionforum.dk/ |
