It's now official! "Deceived Idealism" will be released on the 1st of February on DCD version through Weird Truth productions!
In the meantime, the artwork of the vinyl version has just been finished and Ostra records has already received test pressings so the vinyl version (die hard trifold version and regular DLP ones) should be out within the upcoming weeks as well.

I'm not listening to this album on a regular basis as I need to get into the right mood to truly appreciate it. But I can say that despite a few shortcomings (Yeah, the lenght is sometimes an issue) this is quite a monumental piece of fukking filth.

Riffs, vocals and production are great and the overall mood is something to experience. It is really consuming and dismal with a strong sense of urgency.

I'm not a huge fan of such music but together with Horse Latitudes this is probably the best doom album I've heard the last year.

Just got copies of the Weird Truth 2CD of this in and its crushing, utterly miserable! Great album definitely need to give it some more listens for it to sink in. I also recommend that if you get a chance check out these shows. I saw Mournful Congregation the other week and they were epic. They put on a brilliant show and Im sure Funeralium will crush too. Would love to see these shows.

As some of you are still wondering when the "Deceived Idealism" will be released as a vinyl format, here are some fresh news.
After a few months of delay, "Deceived Idealism" will be finally released in June in two different high quality editions (yet both trifold formats) on the mighty Ostra Records:

1) Die Hard version: that 1st version will be limited to 100 copies and will contain 3 LPs in to...tal: "Deceived Idealism" (marbled black/white colour 2LPs) + "Ultra Sick Doom" (black wax LP) remastered demo. That version will also contain a embroided Funeralium backpatch.

2) Regular DLP: that 2nd version will be limited to 400 copies in regular black wax colour.
Thus, you'd better be quick if you're interested in getting your own die hard version.
