Why is it that on message boards, INCANTATION is "the shit", yet at the shows, no one shows up????
I hate fake-ass fans.

Message boards don't equal real life. It's easy to forget that the people who post here (mostly) share common taste in music so it seems like a band like Incantation or Blasphemy or GBK would be playing to football stadiums full of people, when in reality the average metalhead actually has no idea who they are.
That being said it'll be cool to hear the new record! |

They will take it- and rip it off. Then everyone will buy it and say how awesome it is, while in the meantime Incantation will still be playing bars in Cleveland to 20 people.

well said! i can remember not too long ago seeing Incantation and Mortician play to a mostly empty room with a crowd of like 10 people, max. it's weird they have these clone bands and supposed fans, but no one comes to their shows. _________________

Looking forward to it (of course). Last two albums are good for a spin occasionally. But I didn't like the new track (Absolved in Blood) on the Split with Denial Fiend at all.
I drove 16 hours in 2009 to see Incantation. JUST Incantation. At a bar, not a fest or anything. Just a normal one-off show and it killed. _________________

Dude, what the fuck is wrong with most of the north-american "metalheads"?.
I mean, come on... The prices for a concert there are cheap as fuck... 10/15 or 20 bucks maybe?.
Here in Argentina people will EASILY pay 50 dollars for a band like Incantation, and I can even manage to bring 30 people by myself.
You people need to waste less money on your fat-ass Mc Donalds burguers and take advantage of your local bands.. _________________ Attacked by Fire!. |

The Mc Dolands example it was an obvious sarcasm (Just like your answer hehe... )
But I can't find a reasonable reason to justify this kind of attitude concerning a band that we all know that have tons of fans out there.
Maybe extreme laziness?,since the money is not the problem thats the most possible reason I'm guessing.. _________________ Attacked by Fire!. |

| I've only missed one Incantation show in Chicago in 15 years... Biggest crowd I've seen at one of their shows was probably 80 people a couple years ago when they played Onward to Golgotha front to back. |

| The Krusty Burglar took all of my money so I beat him to death while wearing a clown costume but I still couldn't afford to see Incantation. |

| I'd be interested if Pillard or Rahmer did session vocals, otherwise, don't care... |

Nah... I always thought his vocals were the weakest part of Diabolical Conquest. |
