Rauta,
I got my CoO/VS package from AAP today, wet/vacuum cleaned the Abrahadabra LP and didn't notice any surface noise while playing it. It sounds ok. Unfortunately, my copy had a scratch in side A track 1 which I believe was there from the factory, since Tmi packed perfectly as always and the inner sleeve seems to be of good quality, it has that inner antistatic sleeve to avoid direct contact between the record and the paper.
Here's a picture, you guys should check your copies. In case your record has this problem as well, the needle will produce that usual noise while tracking over the scratch. I believe it lasts something around 90s during track 1?

I can't imagine you would have any trouble with it then. It should be dead silent. I failed to mention that I got a copy for a friend in my original post. I listened to his copy and it was the same. _________________ A TERRE RECORDS

| It is dead silent, except for the point where the scratch is, obviously. |

Well I'm hoping it's not dead silent, we tried to have some music pressed onto them suckers too. Although I can't be certain, the scratch may originate from the packaging department of GZ. Please shoot AAP email about the issue and things will be fine, like you took the blue pill you know |

Very good news, especially the new Venus Star LP... the new tape is the best material to date to my ears. _________________

| On an Asymmetry related note (excuse this deviation, but I didn't want to start a whole new thread for just one small question), has Roman Cross been laid to rest definitely? I've seen Asymmetry be referred to numerous times as the "successor" to Roman Cross, or as "having risen from the ashes" of Roman Cross and so forth. |

| If a mod would be so kind and lock this thread I'd appreciate it. I foolishly put up a separate newer thread about my current releases with a similar title... Can get a bit confusing. |
