The title might be a tad gayish, but the record kills. Been such a long time since I spun it, don't know why.

everyone else?

Great LP. Last one that's really worth a damn.

Great album. Contemporary sounding without being "nu" (unlike their stuff after this).

Love the Title, The music, The artwork. I was actually in a monogamous relationship with this record when it came out, but I moved on. I might see if it would be open to me listening to it again now that you reminded me about it. Seriously, I think it's an underrated masterpiece.

I like all eras of RC. This album especially. Very dark vibe going on. I'm sorta burned out on it b/c I played it so much back in the day.

I like how this album is far more mellow and still retains the Rotting Christ style. I can play it on any occasion, doesn't really require a certain mood. It didn't connect with me at first, but eventually I started noticing those little special moments until I realized the whole album is chock full of them.

I really like this record, I understand those who consider it their first not-so-classic release but it's my favorite, if not second favorite Rotting Christ album. In general, I think it's pretty hard choosing among their first 4 lps, each is stellar at its own field.

If there's one record I would consider objectively best, that would probably be Non Serviam. I know Mighty is considered their classic, but its songwriting seems like a step up to me imo

There are couple of good songs but in general I don't really like this album. As already said, it already bears the fortcoming softness and already those elements that I like in greek black metal are pretty much gone.

fantastic album, probably my second favourite from them...RC are godlike (well, they were, to be more accurate, the last two albums have been disappointing)

+1

Great to hear most people like this record. I can understand someone who is just into the traditional RC sound maybe not liking this, but ultimately for me this is just a great Metal record.

Fantastic album. Never understood people who love this album but ignore ”a dead poem”. It's the logical follow up to Triarchy and not far removed from it's sound. Just pure somber heavy metal.

Think DP is great but Triarchy is the better between the two for me. Personally I like all the stuff RC have put out. Some obviously weaker than other records in their discography but overall, I spin them all fairly often.

Same here, although the last two records have done nothing for me.
