Emperor "I am the black wizards"
Motorhead "Ace of spades"
Cirith Ungol "Paradise lost"

????

I can't think of others... What about bands like Priest or Maiden or is their output of such high quality overall that you would never find agreement among fans?

Pretty much any song on King of the Dead, and most of Frost and Fire. Cirith Ungol really isn't appropriate for this topic in my opinion; too many of their great songs are too close in quality to each other.

I guess the same could be said for many bands!

Ok what about

Isengard "Vinterskugge" ?

I always considered A sorcerers pledge their best song !

I've always thought "Solitude"was the best... seems to be far from unanimous.

Brilliant song, no doubt. But then you've got "Ut I Vannets Dyp Hvor Mørket Hviler", "Total Death", "I Kamp Med Hvitekrist"... So many classics.

Cirith Ungol's discography is 100% flawless, all four albums are 10/10.

Can't think of a really weak song from them, I even like "Got it Alone".
