Went to see the TRIBULATION , KEEP OF KALESSIN, MELECHESCH tour yesterday.
Tribulation was the best band musically but as far as concerned the guys, they really look like dread lock androgyne which i really dislike.
For the rest, no hope to hear old KoK stuff like Agnen or through times of war so fucking boring and not into Melechesch at all.

For those interested, the drummer Jakob has an electric folk/space rock project called Second Sun...

Second Sun sounds good! Will the LP find its way to EU distros?

Funny enough, UNDERGROUND POWER is the only distro that has it.

It's being repressed so don't go spending spastic money on something that will be available in a few months at a regular price.

They've been crushing it every night so far on the tour with Deafheaven. Setlist is a perfect blend of the last two records—everything just works. The band deserves to spread their music to "the masses." Also, the brand new 7" is being sold on tour! A-side is their Cure cover and B-side is an Offspring cover.

I've been contemplating getting to the Minneapolis show this coming week. I really really don't savor the idea of mingling with Deafheaven hordes, but I really dig the new Tribulation album. So maybe I will? I guess it's a good enough time as any to actually see Deafheaven. Maybe they'll be good? Maybe I'll go full "gauze metal or no entry" after the show? I guess I'll find out.

I like Tribulation and have no problems with coverversions of non-metal songs (usually far more interesting than yet another version of Seek & Destroy or Ace of Spades), but wtf?
What's next, a death metal band covering Blink 182?
