but to echo eighthplague's comment, technically he wasn't Christian when it was made, so technically it is not a Christian black metal album. It was written and recorded (presumably) under the sign of Satan, pardon the cliché.
EDIT: been listening to more of the samples online, reminds me of Draco Sit Mihi Dux in many ways, which I absolutely love. |
To me it sounds like a total mix of De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (a lot of the vocals), Svest (the weirdness), Thorns (every riff), and Xasthur (the dense, reverbed out production). |
Listening to samples online, and I fully agree. Interesting stuff. |
