An Ambient thread with no mention of Tim Hecker? Check out Ravedeath 1972, Virgins and Harmony In Ultraviolet immediately!

Fantastic discography. Haunt Me, Haunt Me Do It Again still remains my fave record of his.

I'd like to hear more minimal droning space-y ambient, like Oöphoi/Tau Ceti "Celestial Geometries". Sorta like early German stuff but more minimalistic and quite calm. Feel free to recommend if you know any...

that's a good one. i remember sostrah tinnitus - favo di fiele , or neznamo - seme-zemlya. isothesis - cocoon of red light but none are on par with oophoi, especially his collabs with tau ceti. there was also omenya - the dark meditations, but really, klaus wiese - tibetische klangschalen was the best of all. but thomas koner is always the closest i think.

Cheers, danofort & Grafmeester, will check 'em out during coming nights!

Some Wiese stuff I did go through, the more minimalistic the better I reckon.

I listened since your other post with the hilarious art didn't have a sample. Truly awful. Clearly improvised fucking around with a cheap keyboard, it sounds like if you gave your kid a 15$ keyboard for a gift and they pulled it out of the box and recorded the first thing they played.
