| I think this band played Scion Fest a few years ago, and if it's the same band, it was some of the worst shit I've ever heard. |

Yeah, what I've heard of the new album is much better than I expected. I definitely need to get myself a copy.

I was somewhat skeptical going into it when I first listened to the new one, but I tell ya - it's leaps and bounds more musically interesting than the previous ones, albeit not so consistently 'crushing' (ie. 'monotonous')...
They are a pretty sick live band though, always WERE.
