| Not really. Just do your merch buying or whatever early in the day, then go put your backpack in your hotel room if it's close by . |

yea, from what I saw last year, you would be a fool to do anything with your backpack other than leave it on your back. Even then, if youre a drunk asshole like myself, it might be safer in a bush somewhere. Ditch that shit before you lose it. |

There's no place to check bags no, just leave it in your hotel room. |

Of course! Just talk to the concierge, I'm sure they'd gladly put it in a special bin in the coat room for you. |

Usually when I'm at a regular show I can get the door guy or a bartender to watchover my pack for me... but that's smaller shows. I almost hoped they'd offer lockers since this is such a giant giant festival... but of course that's just wishful thinking. Looks like I'll have to haul my shit around everywhere I go there, not a big deal tho. _________________ "We must secure the extinction of the human race and apocalyptic future for all children" - 14 words. |

Strange that they don't have a coat check/bag check. Most venues I've been to have one for a fee. _________________

| Just booked a room from the 22nd - 27th, $88 a night at .4 miles away from Sonar. Pretty decent deal. |

No, you're thinking of the wallet inspectors. |

the idea of a coat room or a place to store your stuff was really out of the ordinary to see at NWN Fest, but a blessing if your hotel is 15 minutes walk away. ive never been to any venue in the US with either option available. even the metal bar in Berlin had a spot to hang your coats and nobody would fuck with them, i wouldn't think of ever leaving any of my stuff around a bar/venue in the US. maybe i had good luck but i think europeans aren't as interested in stealing from people as we are in the USA, since Americans will throw it on craigslist for some quick cash _________________ good users |

Weird... pretty much every "professional" venue around here has a coat/bag check. Seems like it would be a sensible thing at MDF, given that most people don't want to carry their shit around all day and would probably happily pay a few bucks to have someone else watch it for the duration. _________________

Well, we're also talking about a venue staffed with people known to shake people down with threats of removing wristbands and throwing them out for the weekend without a cash pay off. I would never, ever leave my stuff with any member of their event staff. Few minutes walk to the hotel to drop off back packs with merch and to slam a few beers is the way to go for me. |
