because the buyers are naive enough to think that they control the pricing, not vice versa. in some cases, however, they do, but then it's to their disadvantage.

Because Heavy Metal is more than just music and Metal records aren't bits of plastic but masterpieces of art meant to stay in the hands of a few elected long-haired philosophers. I'd rather sell my Posercorpse Deathcrush for $5 to a deserving metalhead who understands the deep concept behind the music, than getting a thousand bucks from some random ebay loser who has no clue what Black Metal is all about. 666 |
