Burning the Fields EP is absent from the list...

On that note, I'm greatly disappointed by Carl's choice to play an abbreviated version of Trees Come Down live. The first half is essential to the song...

Top 5 bands for me of all time. Each album has their moments of greatness. From Burning The Fields to Mourning Sun the entire discography is unmatched.

I urge anyone who is looking to get into them to start with Revelations compilation. It has a bit of all their best material from each album.

One of the most occult and magical bands ever.

Pray now for how long
We're falling from ecstasy
Like changelings
Freedom returned for new souls
Here or after
Well enrapture me and i'll change

'Elizium' is probably my favourate album of all time, it takes the mind elsewhere. It has a darkness, ambiance and sinister dynamic most metal bands can't touch. That said, everything up to and including 'Zoon' is masterful.

For those who haven't checked out 'Earth Inferno', do yourselves a favor. As far as live albums go, it's one of the best.

As for 'Mourning Sun', it sounds like it was recorded in a bedroom- quite a step down. I want to like it more than I do, but the compositions go nowhere.

All the bass parts and everything throw it off... sounds like a different band pretty much... which it is at this point.

Voted for Elizium. I love that album! I'm only familiar with the first 3 albums and Zoon. Will check out the rest.

Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between Elizium and Wittr's Celestial lineage?
The way the songs flow between power and almost serenity like atmospheres. Even the artwork has a similar vibe.

A really hard choice between The Nephilim and Elizium but I've always had a soft spot for Moonchild and Love under Will so I had to choose The Nephilim. Amazing band.
