If the recording is that good, i think it should be put out on vinyl.

Nothing against tapes, but "tape only" releases suck IMO.

Pentacle is the most underrated death metal band i know. They deserve things like this to be put out on vinyl... But maybe the tape format is a band's decision.... Who knows...

Right.
Seeing that Pentacle don't have any live recording officially released, I vote for this to be available in other formats aside from tape.
Tape looks well presented, no doubt there.

The tape looks great, and I'm sure that a good quality tape will be just fine for a soundboard recording from a 1993 death metal gig. Not everything needs to be on vinyl.

Yeah, we'll never see Pentacle going all Abigail & Nunslaughter on us now.

I think it's high time for an official live release more representative of the bands near quarter century legacy (+ song catalogue) as it stands today, rather than putting something like "Into the Depths of Mill" on vinyl...

Even a DVD documenting past through present live shows would be appropriate for a band of Pentacle's standing.

Can only hope something along these lines might materialize as they approach the 25 year mark.

Edit: Agree on the underrated status of Pentacle. This is one band I plan on seeing live onstage myself sometime.

My favourite memory of Pentacle live is Party San 2007 (?). The band came onstage and as soon as Wannes hit the first note on his bass a wall of water fell from the sky! Great set, although I was drenched to the skin before the first song finished.

Back in 2005 I saw them here in Belgium in front of 3 (three!) people.
