Out now:

WAXGOAT029 Drowning The Light (Aus) "The war that never ends" LP

WAXGOAT036 Drowning the Light (Aus) 'Reaping the Night' 7" EP

When I received a package with batch of hand made CD-Rs and photo copies inserts in 2005, I had no premonition of what was going to come.Raw black metal in Australia back then was completely different landscape than today, if my memory serve me correct the scene back then was largely over-shadowed by Melbourne branded black-death-thrash hybrid war bestial war metal. The materials from those CD-Rs proved to be very exciting, my label was based in Sydney however I rarely released any Australian band, given I was never too good to pick up good bestial war metal band. Some of the materials eventually compiled as 'The Fallen Years' double CD, the first official release of Drowning The Light. Raw, cold, melancholic black metal with screeching vocal filled with hatred and agony. DTL went on to a successful journey to conquer the underground black metal worldwide with dozens of releases, many was hard debated for various reasons, we had subsequently collaborated few releases with DTL after 'The Fallen Years' double CD, however no release was done after 2007. 8 years have passed, Drowning The Light now returned to GoatowaRex with 2 exclusive limited releases,

'The war that never ends', 12" LP limit 100 copies, a LP compiled 50 mins of obscure materials never before on vinyl, feature among others discarded release 'Defenders ...' and many others.

'Reaping the Night', 7" EP limit 100 copies, feature again 2 exclusive recordings that never released on vinyl.

Both releases are currently in production, to be released in one month.

The war that never ends... sadly enough will have an ending sooner or later. It's all explained in math now without getting into actual colored details etc etc

An army of ten will never destroy an army of millions.

The band's last album 'from the abyss' is epic, by far better material as a topic to cover in my opinion as well. The whole Lovecraft design made that album ...or rather helped that album to be more epic than it possibly was already. Great album.

As a child, and alone, I have contributed to the genocide of millions of ANTS via magnifying glass, so never underestimate the strength of one comrade! The battles may be over, but the war rages on!

Appreciated, new material will continue in a similar vein.

@da666

Is it safe to ask about the riddle now? ...or was it revealed in a thread I missed during an absence.

That album was fucking killer, everything from the album cover through the musical material, an absolutely monster of an album.

Guess when dealing with the old ones there cannot be failure less you risk your own soul to an endless and depthless darkness to suffer for eons untold in some hellish other world where insanity is merely those still most sane, and a word would not exist to describe those others lurking there in the limitations of English design.

It was revealed on Facebook, the most occult platform on the internet.

If you want to order it ahead of time, you have to give them one thousand dollars.

The in stock number is set to 0 so no one could buy it with that price even you really fucking want to, I put up those pre order links for 1)hosting the image to be relinked on forums; 2)announcement.

I never take any payment in advance pre order.

Well i lit a red candle, closed my eyes, inhaled some jasmine incense, tried rubbing my temples and psychically communicating it to everyone but alas my occult telepathy powers have dwindled in my old age, then i tried resurrecting a messenger pigeon to fly the information to the 100 or so people who participated, but as it flapped its wings it crumbled back into dust, so even my dark necromancy is fading.. so THEN i resorted to the other occult mediums where fans gather...
