I can't believe how good this is. Utterly outstanding. Every second is ecstasy. Talk about shooting straight into my top 5 of the year. This is some impeccably composed mythical Heavy Metal. Masterful performance, sublime emotion, and soulful in all its ways. A little proggy and adventurous, but only in the right way.

Listen!

Still haven't purchased the album, but I've read many reviews and there was not even a single bad word about it!
Almost all were something 10/10 and all praise it to the death!

I couldn't resist (I have the habit not to listen to favorite bands/albums or stuff I assume it would be at least very good and prefer buying them directly) and listened two songs in youtube.
Sounds completely different from ''Weaving Fates'',which was glorious to my ears!
I assume they want a more ''rich'' result with those proggy touches.
Want to see if they manage to create their personal epic sound.
Actually I'm pretty sure about inspiration, judging from 'NYKTA'.
Those two bands are condemned to quality.

Can't wait!

A perfect album leagues and bounds ahead of everything released in a long, long time. The way the narrative intertwines with the music is nothing short of masterful.

Last Zemial releases were a big letdown to me because of their new style, reading the word "prog" referred to Agatus as well means I'll give it a listen, instead of the usual blind buy...

It's less proggy than Nykta, more epic Heavy Metal oriented I'd say..

Definitely one of the best 2016 releases for me,magical in every aspect!

Yes. Those who felt being alienated on Nykta being more progressive than previous works should not skip The Eternalist. Of course Vorskaath's drumming is bound to bring some progressive feeling but overall the album is very easy to get into.

Really love what the band has done on The Eternalist. it's definitely a further extension of what the band was doing with The Weaving Fates but more solidified and cohesive as a whole. Time will tell, but I feel like this one could end up being my favorite Agatus release thus far. Killer stuff.

This is good, as is Nykta. Could someone possibly give some newer epic heavy metal recommendations of the same vein?

I don't even care about listening to a preview. It's the kind of record one buys blindly. I'll get it along the new ZEMIAL and then some of the best Metal of these days.

Nykta was a beast of a record. I'll never get bored when I return to it. It's all about power and subtlelty at the same time.

Great album... Always liked both bands but this is way better than the new Zemial for me.

I had no complaints of the Zemial release, the Agatus here though I am not receiving so well... I have not made it through the album, keep turning it off at various points due to having a general dislike to it. Guess that's self explanatory enough for myself ... I don't like it.
