If I remember correctly the Cannibal Corpse-doc from Centuries of Torment was quite nice and informative. |
Centuries of Torment was excellent. |
That was great! Thanks for the tip. I was never a fan of CC but enjoyed the documentary, especially the bits with Scott Burns. The earlier bands of theirs like Leviathan sounded fucking killer!!
More old bands need to do this sort of stuff.. |

Yeah, it's good enough that even people who aren't into metal at all should find some enjoyment in it. It's just a supremely well done, bare-bones documentary. |

Indeed. The ATG documentary is similarly well done and informative. Hopefully these are the beginning of something that other bands may follow. Sepultura would be a great one. Morbid Angel? Obituary? So many possibilities. |

I think Sepultura would end up playing out like a lifetime TV movie of the week. Depending on if you like that sort of thing it might be funny to watch. That band may have interesting to even impressive beginnings that I would like to hear about first hand but it would devolve into a shitfest pretty fast. _________________ These times I fuck for sure! |

Has anyone seen the Raven Rock Until You Drop documentary? I was considering picking it up. |

Are these worth getting?
Dismember Live Blasphemies
Dismember Under Blood Red Skies
Also: I wish every band in Metal watched the CANNIBAL CORPSE dvd as the template for how all of these dvd bio's should be. It covers the entire history of the band from day one to the present. Very, very good. _________________ Too Old, Too Cold |

Thanks again for this recommendation! Great documentary and ignited my interest in a band I'd previously had little to no interest in. The demo stuff sounds CRUSHING - it'd be great to have a release of all the pre-CC bands' demos on a DCD. |
