| I dont think you can lump Jon in with this. He had clear ulterior motives for releasing that shite, it definitely wasn't anything to do with 'music' for musics sake. |

He wanted to get off that contract, wasn't it the reason why he recorded this stuff just for delivering "another album" to the label (Nucliar Blast)? Still, what he recorded does suck big time. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

Great band, good thing that they reissue these albums? As far as I'm concern I'll stay with my originals ehe.
Hope vinyl will not be made. Don't like edited track... _________________ Sale list (Burzum, DTL, Sunn O))), Darkthrone, Abruptum, Windir, Hellfest, Shining, Fissur, ...) : http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=710004#710004

oh yeah it's fucking rubbish alright but at least he had a two pronged attack with it: get rid of NB and make some cha-ching for the MLO. He didn't even like it. The others were serious |

I am sure ppl were going nuts over buying a copy... Anyway, I think there are better releases from the "good old times" that deserve a re-release than this NT actually. _________________ Solitary Elitism:

No commentary disc this time around?!
From what I recall Fenriz didn't want anything to do with NEPTUNE TOWERS pretty shortly after those 2 releases, thus shelving his 3rd already recorded "Space Lab" album. Wonder whether this'll come out later on, too...although it ain't gonna be more exciting or interesting than the "Algol" stuff, I'd reckon... _________________ "Slit my eyes, for they'll remember..." |

Fenriz has said countless times over the years Space Lab isn't going to be released... and who cares anyway, people should rather go check out some classic Klaus Schulze albums. _________________ ok but who are you damn i have lot of orders

Fenriz also categorically told me the Darkthrone demos would NEVER officially come out on vinyl... |

| This stuff was total 70s Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze style and very well done. I can see how this is boring and pointless for people not into that type of music, but it shouldn't be lumped into the terrible 'Black Metal guy gone retarded keyboard orchestra soundtrack' niche. I still listen to both albums. |

No doubt. It sounded like the Mortal Kombat movie soundtrack. |

Not a bad release at all although it reminds me of Klaus Schulze more than Tangerine Dream.
This is better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0yeczdRBo0 _________________
