Hah true. More than once I went to Google to search for info about a specific band/release and all I got were dead links to downloads, but zero actual info. _________________

| The songs are fantastic, but the really dry sound irks me. |

Yeah, that song made a strong impression. Genuinely haunting/creepy. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

downloaded this earlier and made a tape of it. the initial one song sampler track does no justice to the overall album. totally killer release from start to finish and flows together quite nice! even better I had an old 120 min tape kicking around so I could fit it all on one side with no flipping. awesome! will grab the vinyl, but I have a feeling I might reach for the dub more often just so the flow is not disrupted _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

Vintage Black Magic is the end of side A would be my guess, and it does have an ending aspect to it.
The LP to this witches spell is going to be epic. HHR should consider doing special for it. |

Gave it two focused listens today. Nothing short of inspiring. I don't know if it is 'better' than their previous material... It's quite different in tone. More demented and active sounding, but less necrotic...
Buying for sure. |

okay in fairness upon second listen today, I agree there are logical periodic stopping points with the songs, but it still flows nicely only having a one second pause as opposed to getting up and flipping the album. also, I would say vintage black magic is at the beginning or end of side B if I had to guess since it'll be a 3 sided release _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

I just checked out this Cultes Des Ghoules thing finally a few days ago. First thing I noticed was that it wasn't retro doom as I had previously thought. Damn I'm not really up to date with newer bands it seems. Black metal then? I'm down with that. Charmingly malevolent stuff though. Getting the MCD from 2011 soon, I guess that new album sounded good enough for purchase as well... _________________ §:-«l |

you may as well go for the mythical Haxan too, as its killer as well. the MC version can probably still be found and has a really cool layout. LP is pretty available on ebay/discogs if you have deep pockets I agree on the charmingly malevolent point as well. sorta similar to some french sounds, only more tasteful, or less annoying. however you wanna look at it... I almost think calling it BM at this point is doing the music a disservice, but it is most certainly dark and haunting. I see this thread getting bumped a lot in the coming weeks/months. hahaha _________________ trade-want list/available list- http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20339 |

I just scored the CD version for a lousy price here (something like Swiss Amazon):

Dont know how available that Häxan tape is, atleast now when everybody is talking about CdG. Tape was planned to be split releases with two small labels (Of Crawling Shadows & Terror Propaganda prod), limited to 500 copies, but for some reason Terror Propaganda didnt release their half. So there is only 250 copies floating around.
Feuersturm; I should be getting few copies of that new CD. If you need one for fair price, get in touch. _________________ Mors fennico more |
