| And it's a part of the first song. baptized by the barron also seems boring when listened for the first time. I've even rejected the band a few years ago when I listened to them for the first time and the first song sounded too bland. Several months ago I listened to the whole thing and I became possessed. And I'm sure that's the case of the new album as well. So shut the fuck up faggots. |

I don't think anyone here dismissed the band or album because of the track posted, and a couple of people (including myself) who weren't blown away with the track mentioned that they'd wait for the whole thing to be released before making judgement.
Anyway, yes this track sounds better and better with each listen. I'll definitely be picking up this album. _________________

That was EXCELLENT exactly what I expected.
Also it does sound similar to Specters... to me. |

After umpteenth listens, I am now in much greater anticipation of this album than before. The bone-dry, raw and warm production suits the music perfectly and is, as far as one can judge from a five-minute sample, an improvement over "Häxan"'s production. There's quite a lot going on here and I admit, the music's semblance to "Spectres Over Transylvania" is more evident than I at first estimated.
Hurray for CdG! |

So what's everyone's favorite CdG release(s)?
Mine would have to be Haxan and Specters, though I enjoy everything they've released. _________________

I actually hold Häxan a bit higher than Spectres. But yeah, Häxan and Spectres for me as well. And I too like everything they've done. _________________ Todays modern science is your modern religion. |

The sample sounds incredible. Maybe a bit more straight-forward and aggressive than some of the older stuff, but excellent. This band can do no wrong. _________________ Evil Is As Evil Does... |

Sounds great (I'm sure it's only a portion of a song anyhow), but I was going to buy this regardless.

It's Kvlt to pretend not to like Taake
So according to the promo poster this album will be released any day now? Or is it going to be another release that will constantly be delayed? |
