For me early Doombringer is the closest that reminds CdG. Especially innovative drumming, wicked atmosphere and morbid soundscape.
At first when I got hooked to "Häxan" I loved how it sounded like glory days of Barathrum. But now dont see so much similarites, maybe just same hypnotic feeling

For me early Doombringer is the closest that reminds CdG. |
I've only heard the most recent LP and last couple of 7" releases/split. Just assumed they always did the straightforward bestial attack.

Doombringer done only some demos, democompilation, short splits and ep. Sure you dont mix them with BESTIAL RAIDS? They play bestial stuff, had recent LP and share Doombringer with CdG members...
[EDIT] In matter of fact, when my polish comrades introduced me to "Häxan" cd, they spoke it as "side project of Bestial Raids members"...
