One was done in the past, but I don't think it's fair to include the original Norwegian circle in the poll because it makes it uninteresting (come on, who wouldn't vote for it, it has Darkthrone). I included all the ones I thought were most important. I voted for the LLN, but it was close between the LLN, Temple of Fullmoon, and Blazebirth Hall. Vote and discuss. |

BTC (voted for) or BBH. LLN is hit-and-miss, as are the others. BTC bands have so much character and the sound is rather unique at times. |

I remember reading on the paganfront forum that Temple of Fullmoon was considered to be more of a rhombus |

BTC's image is kinda ridiculous but I like their music a lot so I'm going with that. |

Well for most on the list talking about any circle is quite off. Even the original Norwegian "inner circle" was just a social gathering, not any secret lodge for certain individuals or bands of the scene. It was just about gathering at the Helvete.
TTF too. It was for most of the part just meeting/drinking gatherings by band members and individuals who thought the same way. _________________ Heavy Metal Nuts

100%
it's just the tendency of the people in "the scene" to romanticize everything because it's too hard to swallow the fact that all these bands are just people doing people things |

TTOF or BBH as a group of guys in a certain amount of very good bands i'd probably go with BBH. Still, hard one to call.
LLN is a bit hit and miss from time to time..Mutiilation (later era) totally puts me off a lot of it. Vermeth was pretty bad too.
Don't care for the Mexican lot , i found the whole "third press" 300 copies thing rather silly. 900 copies of a tape which sounded like it was dubbed inside Barry White's asshole ..no thanks. the whole use of the LLN style symbolism was rather stupid too.
Some good stuff from Portugal for sure, but some of the Cruentus stuff (if in the same circle/region) would have really made the BTC a bit more of a "force" with some solid material. I think if we're talking the most insane/maniacal then BTC would win! |

I agree, I just find these groups interesting because when done well, the artists create a unique sound for their "circle." For example, Graveland and Infernum have a unique sound and way of playing just like how Branikald and Forest have a unique sound and way of playing (also due to the fact that they often share the same people). |

Iceland could be added to the list I think.
Argentina, B&H, Denmark, Poland and Portugal are totally unknown for me and I like a few bands from each one of the other scenes so I don't know what to vote. |

Temple of Fullmoon: Graveland, Infernum, Capricornus, Veles, Thor's Hammer. Surely you've heard of at least a couple. |
