Another one with a similar approach.

Also does anyone know what is happening with Gone Postal/Unortheta? They posted a studio pic a year ago and still nothing.

It takes a hell of a lot of time to make a metal album in Iceland. Sinmara's album e.g. has been more than 2 years in the making. I heard from the Unortheta boys that they have just a little studio work left. I got to hear a preview of a recent mix a couple of weeks ago and it sounds sick.

That Mannveira stuff is simply so fucking good, it instantly became the highlight of 2014. I thank you so much for sharing this precious gem. E-mailed the guy when will be the release, he said it's scheduled for sometime during Summer.

Great to hear that things are moving somewhere. Thanks for the info, I am expecting a ton from this album.

haha, yeah, cheers. Been obsessively listening to Mannveira! I too e-mailed him as well, twice in fact ( once by mistake again!). Looking forward to more.

That Sinmara track and Mis■yrming were also very good, although I guess Mis■yrming wasn't quite so tight, but still I will definitely be keeping an eye on them both as well as Mannveira.

I suppose they're all quite Svartidaudi like..no bad thing to these ears though!

Good, this time they didn't steal anything from Svartidaui. Cool

Nadra sounds promising for a first demo. There are some very good parts in these tracks, but also a couple less interesting moments. This seems a band to keep an eye on.

Some people here will surely appreciate this dark ambient band from Akureyri, the largest town in the north of Iceland. It's AMAZING and I've been playing it a lot this year. Really excited to follow this band's development.
