Yeah that Misthyrming track is good. I especially like the riff at 3:05. |

Can't relate to Chao, Svartidauđi nor Sinmara, too plastic... but that recent band Našra is somehow more simple, organic and more honest in my humble and shitty opinion...
Iceland is growing stronger for sure! |

...so Abominor are "Secret Project No. Infinity." the Emissary Studio guy was talking about? Or there is yet another dissonant bm project in the making? This is getting out of control haha, I don't mind at all tho.
edit: any info on this video? Sinmara or?

It's a new project. Secret Project No. Infinity is also another project. All featuring members of Sinmara. Loads of stuff is going on these days. |

I saw that video quite some time ago and thought it was studio material from Gone Postal. Apparently not... _________________

Dynfari - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8CLflVhCk0
their best song in my opinion.
apologies if already mentioned.
a rant.
finnish and icelandic scene are on the same wave that norwegian and swedish used to be in 90, following the same path mesmerized by cold/abhor riffage and atmosphere.in my POV they are even better. im one of the few which like more the new stuff - 2000(5)-now era than the old. maybe evolved technique and technology have left a mark. technology also brought to the surface ultra-polished and sterile sound despite the old rotten/unintended haunted production but i guess is part of evolution, very few bands being able to recapture the old sound, most failing while trying.
not to be neglected the polish and french scene for re-leading to attention the melodic side with a distinctive and original sound.
future looks brighter than ever before, not sure regard fanbase percentage if higher. |
