I'm in the mood for some high energy garage/psych/punk/hard rock. Stuff like Zeke, Hellacopters, Turbonegro, you get the idea.

Are there any recent bands worth paying attention to? I'm familiar with Black Magick SS and Ghost.

I really like the early Graveyard and Burning Saviours stuff, if that counts. Hobo Magic's first album was really cool too, haven't hit the new one yet to check if that lives up. Will definitely be watching this thread to see what else pops up.

The band Knifer from Australia has a cool 7" out

Really into this first release by Melting Sun as well. Cool throwback desert/hard rock. Chiller songs are actually my favorite on this one, really good vocal and guitar melodies

Not sure if this is more stoner/jam than you are interested in but I liked this recent album:

Reminds me a bit of Unida/Kyuss

bless off LP of The Shrine. the sign records roster has some hellacopters like bands, some are ok some are not though.

Hard Action and Death Alley are solid.

Goodbye Repentance and In Ignorance We Trust by Dead Lord are really good. also great live band.

Robert Pehrsson's Humbucker, especially the secong album.
