I understood that this guy might be a bootlegger, but could somebody tell me if the Aeternus demo he sells has a chance to be original?

http://www.ebay.it/sch/engel_azrael/m.html?item=121218075242&_uhb=1&pt=Music_Cassettes&hash=item1c39290a6a&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

I know that the Gehenna, Burzum and Emperor demos are fake, but this Aeternus, I don't really know. Actually that Gehenna demo was spread by suicide74, a thief.

If one of them is fake, they all are.

You got it man, that's what I think as well. I was just wondering if someone else here had an original Aeternus demo to compare with the one of that auction.

The handwriting on the tape is not like the one from Ares (had been in touch for years with him). Its definitely a bootleg!

In the woods: looks exactly like mine, original.

Thou shalt suffer: different tape brand, but this doesn't mean a lot on old demotapes. However I checked the handnumbering and the "3" in my copy is written differently than the "3" on the inlay for the Metal archives tape. But once again, did one guy number all the tapes or did several people number the tapes?

The black: I only have the promotape 1992 and also there the handnumbering is slightly different. Doesn't help a lot though, as here we're talking about two different tapes...

Thou art lord: couldn't quickly locate my copy but the "RAKS" tape brand is one frequently used on Greek demotapes in the 90's.

In the Woods can be worth 30 euros, if it also had the original flyer, which is glossy, up to 50 euros.
Demonic 20 euros.
Thou Art Lord: cassette is fine, card looks suspicious
Emperor is a boot
Burzum: I don't know but I would not buy it.

Not at home to check but I believe the cover was printed on some kind of thicker cardboard, not regular paper.

I strongly think it's not original

Don't know why but I have GoatHorns on tape and have always thought it was bl. Anyone got the same Goathorns tape? It's grey shaded cover, by oriana records. Just had a strange feeling when I bought it.

Im done with buying demo tapes online, its too easy to bootleg them. Anyone can just photocopy the j-card/and dub an old tape. I recently got a few and just sent them back all pissed off. Unless you get them from a highly creditable source, its not worth the effort.

Can somebody roughly tell me how much the Flowing Tears and Withered Flowers demo "Bijou" can be worth? I know that this dark-gothic- doom metal stuff from Germany sometimes is worth something. Thanks

My copy is a single sided xerox on regular paper and blank Maxell cassette. Fake?
