I know there is a post concerning this but I coud not find it.
Any information about this Tormentor (Pre-Kreator) Demo?
The cover has a fold-out picture of the band with Kreator at the top of the pic. The tape itself says Kreator - Demo '84
The owner was a writer for many Danish metal zines in the 80's and he said that he got it from the band to review it.
By the way, the sound is the best I have heard of this demo.
My guess it's a later version when they changed the band name??
Any information would be greatly appreciated. |

| They still sold that demo after the name change, so it is not ulikely that this is the real deal. Can you tell me the Dane's name ? I can most likely find his review. |

I only know him as Anthony. He told me that he did reviews for Metal Forces, Metalized and and Hot Rockin'. Let me know what you find out. Everything about it seems legit. Thanks in advance! |

| This demo is also the proof that Tormentor aka Kreator defintively belonged to the First Wave of Black Metal and were not only an influential Thrash Metal band. |

That's Ken Anthony. One of the oldest and first HM fans in Denmark, going back to the early 70's. Manager for BRATS and later MERCYFUL FATE in the early days. It was in fact his girlfriend who came up with the M.FATE name.
I have a review of the TORMENTOR demo from Hot Rockin' (the first danish metal zine) but it is not written by him. He perhaps did review it for Metal Forces but I will have to check. Metalized was later, around 87/88.
But since you got it from him, I would say that it is legit. |

That is great to hear! Thanks for your time concerning this.
I wasn't doubting Ken but I just wanted to know the deal behind the Tormentor Demo with Kreator on the tape. |

Not a demo, but I got the compilation "From Colombia with Hate" a few years ago on ebay, and the colour artwork is different thant the one you find on internet. It look likes it was xeroxed on yellow paper. I'd like to have a confirmation about it, if someone have the original.

My copy of the Colombian comp has full color pro printed insert. Maybe Nelson ran out of covers so he made xeroxed ones? _________________ The only email I have access to is nwnprod (at) gmail (dot) com. I do not have access to my old Yahoo addresses.

I supposed it's that yes, since the CD is original. Thanks for your answers. _________________ Sale list (Burzum, DTL, Sunn O))), Darkthrone, Abruptum, Windir, Hellfest, Shining, Fissur, ...) : http://www.nwnprod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=710004#710004

the seller wasnt quite sure if it's original, he got it in the early 90ies...
the funny thing is that there is manowar - hail to england dubbed on side B a.k.a. "manower". not to mention the lazy upside down label! _________________ Good/Bad traders list

Can someone give me any information about the authenticity of these Unleashed demos?
The Utter Dark demo comes with a pro-printed cover, while the ....Revenge demo comes with a normal xeroxed cover with nothing on back.
Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! _________________ WANT LIST

If I compare The Utter Dark tape to mine then it looks like the original.
Revenge tape - I used to have that, I seem to remember that the cover was glossy and the cassette was white. |

The Revenge demo is a total bootleg, original ones were distributed by CBR with a glossy cover and a white tape with screened titles on it.
The Utter Dark demo features a xeroxed cover on kinda think paper/cardboard, white tape. _________________ Good sellers: Iscariah, Grav, Madcow, Necrogoat |
