I heard a little while back that the Branikald discography was going to get put on vinyl. Does anyone have any info on this? Is it true? What label?

In an old thread here, I asked kind of the same, weird that BBH or their old classic albums haven't got the "vinyl treatment"... more in this age when even new bands or even straight NSBM bands get it...

I recall some guys said pagan (raw) BM isn't moving that much in vinyl...

Weird, at least in the Branikald/Forest case, granted I'm not behind the numbers but I thought both can move releases of 2 or 3 hundreds, easily, at least with their classic albums...

...known bands in the UG, great albums around, absolutely great artworks for a vinyl re-issue...

Well, i bought the 2 (to date) Branikald/Forest vinyl reissues and would buy any following ones as well. Not that it's going to convince someone to do it or anything.

That might have more to do with the fact most pagan BM isn't very good Very Happy The Forest DLP is long OOP and sells at a premium at discogs, and it was printed in 500 copies, no? I don't think other BBH vinyls would stay on the shelves for long.

That's easier said than done. Forest self-titled is on completely level of it's own compared to The Meads of Misanthropy that is the only Branikald on vinyl so far. It's not Stormheit or To Kampf, and that's why it doesn't sell.

The irregular track lengths would be a headache too, I imagine.

A few releases would have to be DLPs. The only headache would be getting the money to release everything. I could see a run of 300 of each album and then 500 of To Kampf and Stormheit selling out in short order.

Vinyl versions for a long time were useless, even limited splatter version after 5 years were available in different distro.
