It is going to be a very fine release.
The press drivel, however, makes me want to vomit in all colours of the rainbow... _________________ Oh, what fun we have when we exist.

Geography obviously wasn't my best subject in school. |

It's pretty close to Deutschland however.
Geography aside, does anyone else feel that HAIL OF BULLETS is just another incarnation of ASPHYX? I like the 12" a lot but the comparisons with ASPHYX are in abundance. I also find it amusing that the first album is on Metal Blade & the huge push behind them. Maybe I'm being cynical but like PENTACLE, I think HAIL OF BULLETS belongs to the underground more than the "Death Metal mainstream". _________________

That has nothing to do with cynicism - MB want to cash in on the resurgence of Death Metal, as simple as that. _________________ Oh, what fun we have when we exist.

I just hope we don't reach a point of over saturation like the early 90s when it comes to emerging Death Metal. It would be hideous to see bands like NECROS CHRISTOS, DROWNED, NECROVATION etc on bigger labels. They can hold onto their Thrash revival all the want. Late 80s Thrash sucked anyway. _________________

I was surprised at how easily they got signed to Metal Blade after just 1 demo.

Aren't THANATOS without a record deal at the moment? Maybe Metal Blade will pick them up as well. |
