The new DTL album is not far off, just vocals to be recorded (this 13th album has been a long time coming, but is worth the effort put into it), and of course art and so on is yet to be done, so maybe a few months yet.

However the Eternum mcd is now a full length album! It evolved from the original mcd idea and is now quite a monster (about an hour long), it should be out in a month or so.
Here is a preview of the cover art work for the Eternum album:

Looking forward to the new Drowning The Light 13th album. Been a while since Oceans Of Eternity. Still play it since the release from that time very strong powerful album. Will there be a track released in the upcoming month or so? Onward to Eternum an hour long EP this band truly leaves you for more. Is there anyway to get in contact with the artist really want this piece on my wall.

I hope for some samples in the next month or so for DTL.
Well it's no longer an EP for Eternum but a full length album, the artwork was commissioned particularly for the Eternum album so i'm not sure if she will be doing prints but we might look into have a poster to go with one of the formats when the albums out, because it's a spectacular piece.
For info on the artist see below.

Vocals have been completed for the new Eternum album, so it shouldn't be to far away.

After many years the vinyl version of Drowning the Light "A Reflection of the Past" has been sent to press.
It will be limited to 100 copies and only available through Merchant of Death. More info soon.

This is the material from the split with Evil, correct? Does it still have that terrible fucking head ache inducing high pitched squeal going on in the background of the recording? This is some of my favorite DTL material but it doesn't see too many plays because of that fucking sound. Laughing

Correct (it's never been on vinyl before - so about time), although i don't know about this squeal you speak of?? There is definitely a bit of fuzz and crackle and a bit of pitching, as it was a pretty primitive recording, unless you got a poor quality tape version or something where its amplified?
(i notice sometimes tape dubs especially when using mp3s instead of proper masters have some high end hissing).
Or maybe my ears have just adapted to it Confused

It's possible I just have a bad tape. I'll check out the YT track later when I can.
