I wouldn't say it's boring, certainly miles away from the magic of BdB but still fairly decent speed/thrash. Thats the problem affecting bands with one or two really groundbreaking albums in their catalogue, every other release -no matter how good- is bound to sound weaker and pale by comparison, see Angel Witch, Assassin etc. I'd love to see one of those awfully shitty black/thrash bands of today write something having 1/10 of the class and energy of Pleasures of the flesh/Fabulous disaster. |

I wish I could appreciate them a little more, Last One on earth introduced me to more underground old school death metal when I heard it a few years ago. But apart from like four songs it just doesn't do much for me, maybe it might just need a few more spins.

Good Death Metal albums/bands won't click with this kid, he dislikes Left Hand Path and praises Gorefest over it and apparently over Asphyx as well
