Hi,

I'm visiting Stockholm end April / early May.
Any recommendations regarding bars, recordshops, points of interest?

Thanks

In 2012 we used to drink here - www.galwaysirishpub.se - really nice suggestion, as Swedish beers are just piss, at least regular ones; probably there are some craft breweries/pubs which locals may suggest. From local drinks I'd definitely recommend to pay attention to ciders, Rekorderlig do varied line of really nice ones, including strong (8% or so), which I found in Systembolaget alco-shops...

Been a regular for soon 20 years and made some incredible finds there. A couple of months ago they got a collection of 15 000 very rare Classical CDs in mint condition and I bought like 200 of them for peanuts. Very Happy

all great shops are listed already. I really liked mickes and trash palace. sound pollution was cool for new releases but expensive. never been at serie och skivhandel but from pictures I've just seen it looks awesome.

as for beer you can check macken: http://mackenbryggeri.se/gasolines.html
you can find them at systembolaget (there is a store just in front of mickes) or at some selected pubs

also skogskyrkogården is cool to visit

There's more cider in one of my farts than a pint of Rekorderlig!!
They do an 8% cider? eughh..really? all i've ever tasted in rekorderling (and i've tried it a few times) was sugar, sugar and a bit more additives ...oh , and sugar. I don't think Sweden is much on the map for Cider.

I haven't claimed it's something extraordinary or anyhow craft-related, but as compared to the regular Swedish beers (absolutely undrinkable) it was the only realistic healing for hangover (for everyday drinking we had a full pack of bourbon, calvados and rum from duty-free shop, as were not mad to buy strong alcohol at Swedish prices, of corpse). Also mind that in 2012 there was not craft revolution in Russia yet, so I've had not much to compare with and relying on old memories. These days I do not drink ciders sweeter than semi-dry, but I had about 3 years to get replete with everything. However, that's offtopic, there is a drink-list thread. Wink
