| I find it weird that people praise newer Darkthrone/Burzum and whatever new band is out there yet not like this album. Reminds me a lot of The Lord Diabolus demo. Axiom Heroine and All in Satan are amazing tracks! |

| I don't think it is very 'revolutionary' or anything it seems kinda straightforward to me, but it is just done super duper well thus it gets heaps of spins from me |

| Generic black metal that could have been made by anyone. Doesn't carry the same spirit as the old material. Useless. |

I have to ask, what album/band sounds like Engram? _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

I didn't say it rips any albums off, it just sounds generic to me. You could have put the logo of any unknown band on the cover of that album and I wouldn't have assumed it was Beherit. |

i think Celebrate the Dead (the song) was better than Engram. at least i have listened to it much more despite them being from the same sessions. it has much more of the ritualistic/meditative feeling that i see mentioned about Engram and to me seems like it would have been a natural progression from after making Engram. has nothing to do with the metal vs ambient Beherit debates either, the classic stuff up to DDTM will always be #1 but this song is great. _________________ good users |

Or your ability to understand that other people don't place the same value in an album as you do is damaged. Nothing about Engram feels like Beherit to me. Period. Those of you who get all butthurt when someone doesn't like this album need to consider why it is that it affects you so much. |
