This one came out long before "Demon Entrails"! Both -"Satanic Rites" and "Triumph Of Death"- CDs came with a slipcase and from what I recall were just the usual, regular bootlegs, also soundwise. One of those -SR, if I'm not completely mistaken- even featured an "Emperor's Return"-era CELTIC FROST pic on the backcover! Definitively done by dedicated "fans", pffff...

I wonder who really takes the effort to weed out all these bootleds blatantly sold over eBay..perhaps an online community of metal fans should take up the challenge i.e. whilst searching for your fav but hard to find LP/CD, anyone coming across a potential bootleg should post it up on a site/forum for the world to check. Then the bands themselves (if still active) can then do the necessaries to stop the product from being sold to the unsuspecting public...just my 2 cents

I collect bootlegs of bands I like a lot and I'm not against them. There have been several Hellhammer (and Celtic Frost) bootlegs.

Yes, there's some Hellhammer and CF bootlegs on vinyl, that are worth buying but that Satanic Rites CD is just pathetic if this is true:

Heh... I have a ok Satanic Rites bootleg CD by Hellhammer Maniac Records even though there´s no booklet. The Demon Entrails is definitive release, no need for all the crap anymore. |
