I'm looking for some more old school (mainly the 80's) Punky Speed Metal but not necessarily "Thrash" more Heavy Metal influences. The following releases are some of my favorite Metal records ever and fit what I am looking for nicely:

Onslaught - "Power From Hell"
Atomkraft - "Future Warriors"
Slaughter - "Strappado"
Virus (UK) - "Pray For War" and "Force Recon"
Anihilated - "Created in Hate" and "The Ultimate Desecration"
Sodom - "Obsessed by Cruelty"
Mayhem (US) - "Burned Alive"
English Dogs - "Forward Into Battle" and "Where Legend Began"
DBC - "Dead Brain Cells"
Exciter - "Heavy Metal Maniac"
Hallows Eve - "Tales of Terror"
Living Death - "Metal Revolution"
Mutilator - "Immortal Force"
Turbo - "The Last Warrior"
Vectom - "Speed Revolution"
Warrant - "The Enforcer"
Angel Dust - "Into the Dark Past"
Warfare - "Metal Anarchy"

If that list can't give you a solid idea of the stuff I am looking for than I really don't know what else I can write.

I love Hellpack already and have the compilation of Necroripper cover tracks (GBH and The Misfits covers are rad), but none of those bands are old.

Whiplash - Power And Pain
Carnivore - both LP's
Agnostic Front - Cause For Alarm
Try the Speed Kills LP's, they are great compilations.

Perfect! This s/t LOD from 1988 is awesome. Already knew of NME but somehow forgot about them. Ordered the CD of Unholy Death from Amazon a few minutes ago.

Never really thought of Carnivore as "Speed Metal" more Crossover-ish but good nonetheless. How many Speed Kills comps are there? I have the one that starts with Hallows Eve and Exodus.

Just found out about Dorsal Atlantica too. Their first album is pretty solid:

Medieval (US)

Not quite speed metal, but definitely heavily punk influenced.

Great band. The EP is a favorite. I thought the LP was a little doomier? I haven't heard it though, might as well download it.

I listen to quite a few of these but once again I'm not really looking for any newer bands, more 80's and 90's stuff.

LP is slightly slower, but still same general style. Another really great band in that style that gets overlooked is Crisis (Utah, USA). Armed to the Teeth is great slightly punked up, sped up NWOBHM worship, highly recommended.
