Hey,

So today I bought the following records.

ENTOMBED "Clandestine" - black vinyl, 1991, looks like an OG to me.
The vinyl is perfect, but the jacket is a tad beat up.

CATHEDRAL "Soul Sacrifice" - black vinyl, 1991, OG UK press.
Excellent condition vinyl, jacket better than the Entombed.

LEEWAY "Born To Expire" black vinyl, w/ lyric sheet, 1st and only press.
Vinyl ok, jacket ok to good.

CATHEDRAL "The Ethereal Mirror" - blue vinyl, UK orig 1993 press.
Awesome all around condition.

TERRORIZER "World Downfall" - green vinyl, 2002/2003? press.
Vinyl is perfect, jacket some wear.

CATHEDRAL "Statik Magic" - black vinyl 12" orig press.
Vinyl is perfect, jacket some wear.

Tell me what these are worth in the condition I mention.

Then I will tell you what I paid.....

Thanks

M.

I suppose you got a bargain then. I would think that 20 for Clandestine is a good price.

I paid $66 USD for all 6 of those records.

Best vinyl day ever in my life so far!

The Cathedral on blue is a $200 record!

Sorry to burst the bubble but this is a $50-$60 record.

Good score, but it wouldn't make my top-5 Wink

I bet that guy is jealous of this guy who got it for $40:

If I go by the highest recorded price on popsike for each of my records my collection is worth a fortune. But many of those are one-offs, shill bidding,...

Pretty good haul for under $70, no matter how you cut it. But beware of autistic vinyl one-uppers. Laughing

I will start a thread like this any time i shot a bargain... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

P.S. Do you know how much pieces of the second Entombed where pressed?
In the first year 25.000 where sold in Sweden - so you got some real rarities, be lucky! Laughing

Good scores, it's pretty hard to get old Cathedral records for a reasonable price these days.

It's rediculous how much some people want to get for a "cult" record. Burzum's debut on wax is available on Discogs for around 1k euro. Sorry, but who dares to spend so much money on a LP deserves an ass kick.

Anyone who spends that kind of money on a record (and it's none of my business how people spend their money - just for the record) must realize how stupid it was once they hold the damn thing in their hands. A piece of cardboard/paper and plastic worth $20 and it cost them $1000.

Anyone remember some girl about 10 years ago who bought the original "Deathcrush" MLP on eBay for a similar amount? She desperately tried selling it but was getting an average of about $300 as the highest bid. She kept re-listing it over and over again with reserve price and she wasn't able to sell it for the same price she paid. Served her right.
