Well, I was always a fanatic of such raw sound. It was always difficult to find at that time because of some directions given by the industry. There was already then a flow of useless records that made the search for good sounds difficult. I think that some older users will agree...

What I'im looking for?

I think about bands like Heresy (UK), Wehrmacht, Xyster, Sacrilege (UK), Messiah (CH) and so on.

Those who will try to discuss the term "thrashcore" should read some old zines, to find out that this word was widely used (and misused) to define raw sounds that were often close to punk and hardcore (this one another term that had another significance at that time).

Any suggestions?

Samples:
Xyster
Heresy (UK)
Sacrilege (UK)

Swell thing, I didn't know Heresy before, but I am definitely enjoying them.

Are you aware of Armagedom from Brazil? They've released an album in 1986, "Silêncio Fúnebre", after which they broke up to reunite again at the late end of the 90's (I only know and own the aforementioned debut album, but do plan on catching up on them, especially on the recent reissues of further studio material they made in the 80's).

Their sound is typical of Latin-American extreme music of the time, I'd say, there is a very distinct aggressive dilettantism at work here which you either love or hate.

In my mind nothing fuckin' touches Heresy - they're the best. But you gotta check out Pandemonium, Larm and BGK from Holland, Concrete Sox, Ripcord....... Neos? Cyptic Slaughter? S.D.S. from Japan? Septic Death? Early CoC? Extreme Noise Terror?

Where do the lines blur? Kaaos, Riistetyt, Teerveet Kadet, Rattus?

The Accüsed. One of the first and in my opinion, the best by far. I'd reccomend you to start with The Return Of... Martha Splatterhead. All their albums are good on their own, but that one is a fucking masterpiece.
I think Blaine should get more props from extreme metal bands, specially for his vocals in the first 3 Accüsed albums.

Repulsion, Cryptic Slaughter, DRI, Accused, Siege, Corrosion of Conformity, Septic Death, Rattus, Ripcord, Heresy, Negative Gain, Lethal Aggression, Dirge, Wehrmacht...all are mandatory. Tons more too.

Check out the 'Cleanse the Bacteria' comp if you haven't already...at least the MP3s if you don't want to spend big bucks on the LP. A lot of great shit on there.

I also loved School of Violence back in the day...I suppose they fit as 'thrashcore'.

And if you like all that stuff, be sure to check out 'Earth AD' by the Misfits...hopefully you already know it and worship it! I've never heard it labeled 'thrashcore' before, but it certainly fits with all the above-mentioned bands.

Seems to be a pretty wide genre, that Thrashcore, but well...

X-Creta
Warhammer (UK)
(early) Onslaught
Virus (UK)
Dissection (Canada)
Tyrranicide

Thank you guys for the many suggestions. Those I don't know yet will be checked!

The most doesn't really fit with the sound I'm looking for. Something like... 55% thrash 45% punk/hardcore... and yes: Heresy were Gods.
