I know this has been asked before, and after a search I'm none the wiser. Older posts from 2010 suggest these people are useless. Poor printing quality, poor communication and records with vastly different qualitiy. The later posts from 2013 seem to suggest things have gotten better.

Honestly, I'm weary about using them, but since I'm looking for a 300 copy run of records, my choices are limited. It's either mobineko or Flight 13 (anyone used them by the way?). Has anyone here used them for records in the last year?

The one record I did through them was a total fucking headache due to the main plant they broker through closing down mid production (still unsure on how the hell that happened). Their shipping to the US was also abysmal, the packages showed up looking like they had been catapulted from the UK to Seattle rather than actually mailed. On a more positive note they ended up mailing us a limited colored variant that we had initially asked for but opted out of due to the price difference, so that was a nice surprise. The vinyl quality itself was good, though I'd recommend getting center labels done elsewhere as the print quality wasn't very good.

Have no complaints at all, pressed a vinyl through them last year. Didn't get sleeves, but the center label prints are fine and the records sound good.

Did a 100x cds from them and looks like pro cdr, computer also recognizes it as "album unkonwn". Although the discs play fine.
Ordered also 100 stickers from them and due to a pink line across the logo they send us 250 'to make up the mistake'...
Poor quality and customer service.

pressed/pressing about 1500 vinyls in about a year or so, all turned out fine, the client communications were excellent, inquiries always replied promptly, turn around time in reasonable time frame, price is also competitive.

Not related to Mobineko in any way, but this article about bottlenecks in the vinyl pressing industry has surfaced lately. I don't know much about pressing vinyls, but the more I read about it, the more perplexed I am.

I've used them for both CD and vinyl and was pleased with the outcome. Shipping was perhaps a bit lengthy but I can't really complain becuase it came at no additional charge.

I'm planning on releasing a CD this summer and, though my persuasion at the moment is to find a plant closer to home to press it, I'd work with Mobineko again.

i have done more than a dozen projects with them and was always satisfied. only had one problem with a printing fuckup and they basically told me to keep the fucked up ones and they sent 500 correct ones, so i basically had 1000 copies for the price of 500. beyond that, they've always been quick and good job. never did vinyl with them, only cds. i refuse to press vinyl again until it goes out of style. whatever people like, i hate it.
