Shirts like that were all over the place in the early 90s. Every remotely successful metal band (and lots of stupid grunge bands) seemed to really like those prints. Also those lame death dealer shirts that everyone on earth seemed to own...always kids in middle school back then in death dealer shirts and long trenchcoats (until Columbine that is...)

Simple reason: the sight of a silly group of ugly guys on your shirt is awful.
Back prints often have stupid slogans on them. Having a band logo on my back and possibly a short slogan is cool, but not when it's a whole text.
I bought a Bathory and a Sarcofago hoodie at HHR some time ago and while the front is nice, I fukkin hate all the text on the back and sleeves. It makes me feel like a billboard.

| Didn't mind backprints when I had long hair but now... Metal shirts are cool and all, but being a thirty year old dad with a shirt with 'fuck god, hail satan' on the back is just plain silly. |
