That's what D.N. told me as I proposed them for a new split with one of my projects, refusing for being focused on gathering up material for a new album.
On topic of the record itself: I finally had the effort to listen to the vinyl here at home on my stereo at an humane output level. It sounded a lot more audible than on venues at PA at full volume (well, according to some listening standards, that is...) or at an car stereo.
Somewhat I find it being too blurry in all. Mixed in together too tight.
Best part being the vocals that are an instrument.

I agree. I really like Deathwomb Catechesis but the songs are just a little predictable and the production is sterile and a bit weak. Still worlds better than most bands around right now. I prefer their older material in general, but I'm really looking forward to more shit. |

If you're looking for more Russian BM, I suggest Ithdabquth Qliphoth. And if you like Pseudogod's early material, try to track down the Groth demos. _________________

I don't see how Pseudogod and Ithdabquth Qliphoth have much in common other than being from Russia. Good band, though I only have the selft titled album.
Will definitely investigate Groth. |

I had two of the Groth tapes I downloaded from some shitty Russian sites, but I wasn't a huge fan. Much, much rawer than Pseudogod and just not that interesting.
Not black metal, but Graveside is another great Russian band. 90's death metal similar to Deicide in places. |

Yeah, I just suggested IQ because it seemed like the dude was looking for more Russian BM. Maybe I read it wrong. _________________
