[quote="Monad"]Got to say, As much as the sample track from the up-coming release is great, It's going to have a tough time matching up to Groza. Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to to this new one and i could be eating my words upon its release, Groza's a tough one to beat!

Yeah, but judging by the new sample number the new album may be even better.

Love MGLA but Groza was quite dissapointment. Maybe those ep's before that were just too good.

That reminds me, dont know is it purposed but ending of Presence "I" is like a homage to ELÄKELÄISET.

At 06:30 there is familiar sounding drumfill which leads to humppa-comping

I didn't get into Groza when it came out. But then later on I listened it a few more times and found out that it's truly a great album. A bit different than the 7"s, 12" or the Crushing the Holy Trinity material but still regonizable Mgla there.

Exactly. It's different, and more mature. And simply better.

They have had a steady developement since the very beginning. All their releases sounds very different, and this last one sounds even more a step further from Groza. I'm liking what I've heard so far.
Strange how people seem so fanatical about this release, when "everybody" was so disappointed by Groza. Groza took some time, but as always with MGLA, it's pure perfection.

True- I really did not like Groza much when it first came out at all- now I think it's incredible.

I'm surprised by the amount of people that seem to think this band is the best black metal band to ever come out of Poland, or even one of the best bands around today, as I don't remember seeing such accolades when Groza came out. While I do quite enjoy what the band has released, I wouldn't necessarily go to the lengths many have gone in this thread (multiple reports of "perfection", for example).

This track is pretty fucking awesome. May have to check this band out. What's a good place to start?

go and get (or load) the Mdlosci 7". among the best BM 7"s in the last 10 years.
GROZA: the last song is an absolute killer
their "crushing the holy trinity" stuff is also very strong.

Agreed! A release can't get much more better than that.

What the fuck are you talking about? I am a fan of the band. I just don't think they're the best black metal band from the same country that produced Graveland.

excellent news. not sure about terms like "best" or "perfect", but their output has always been consistently strong in its unique sound and vision
which is far more compelling imo, and i anticipate nothing less here
