Hehe, sounds fucking great.

Actually, this [the band's reunion] started for me with some strange nightmarish doomsday dreams I had, there were angels who played doom music on some kinds of huge horns that came down through the clouds and I woke up to this with a constant melody that went over and over in my mind. I went straight to dust off my guitar and started playing the melody I had heard in my dream. Over the next two or three weeks I produced about 70 new "Mysticum"-riffs, many of which are very-very good.

Is it just me, or does this new remastered version sound a bit too polished?

The remaster/remix version sounds cleaned up in a good way for once. More power and distinction without changing the actual sounds.

Ok, so maybe it is just me. Listened it once and left a bit disappointed. Lot cleaner sound, but I had an impression of too clean. Maybe I should listen it once again... overall I have liked raw and muddy sound of the original. This just didnt have the same feel to it.

I just personally thought the original always sounded like a weak master, as in, the frequencies were kind of muddled and weak sounding. I especially like that the obnoxious Techno beats sound much more powerful with this mix. I see your point though, most of the time, the imperfections are a huge part of the charm.

Honestly, i dont hear any significant difference between original and this remastered sound. Drums are little bit louder which is better in my opinion. Not too polished at all, sounds great.

DVD includes Bradford show, same as in that bootleg dvd but remastered to much much better, both sound and visual. Other show is never before seen video, basic 90's video camera stuff but sound is surprisingly good (probably remastered somehow too?), bass is funky. Good bonus for hardcore fans.

I have to also mention that new artwork is better than on previous versions. Exact picture what industrial urban degeneration black metal chaos draws in your mind. Well made rerelease!

I don't think it's been remixed. Just a typical remaster, which honestly doesn't change the sound as much as many people on this forum seem to think it does (unless it's been compressed to shit, in which case it'll just be less dynamic).

Wish they would have stuck with the original artwork.
