I think this album aged very well over the years. It’s technical death metal done right.

Perfect in its genre. I'm sad to know their later albums, though the next still was good!

Indeed, "Todessehnsucht" still has its moments, especially the DEATH cover. After that, it went constantly downhill with them in a frightening manner.

But I prefer ATROCITY (USA) the same year anyway:

For me Todessehnsucht was really good. Also that Dracula album after had its moments.

"Hallucinations" rules. Just scored the LP and "Blue Blood" EP for next to nothing.

I lost interest when they became too technical on Longing for Death. What are the bonus tracks on the CD reissue of Hallucinations?

The 2 CD version has The Hunt EP and 4 live tracks as a bonus CD. That's not really interesting but the first CD has the Blue Blood EP included.

The title track starts so atmospheric with that medieval tune, but then suddenly Biopanturahead enter the room without any warning, it's like coitus interruptus.

I cannot arrange with that LP anymore; the involved persons are so damned stupid... I can´t get that out of my mind when listening... Basically that doesn´t judge the music right, but... I prefer the first Pyogenesis instead(also dump suckers but even better music)!

Great album, I have the first press cd with the Blue Blood ep as bonus tracks and it's definitely the only Atrocity material I need to own.
