The first issue of my zine is out now, 76 heavily illustrated 8.5x11" pages featuring interviews with ∆vangelist, Iron Dogs, Gravewurm, Begrime Exemious, Redimoni, Zuul, Professor Black, illustrators Caleb Dickenson and Danille Gauvin plus a Defenders of the Old show report and a few demo and album reviews.

Available from The Basar North America. Also get in touch with her for distro trades. A few other distros will have them in small quantities, hopefully including one in Europe, and I will mostly be selling them locally and at Hells Headbash in a month.

Thanks for the initial interest all. I'm really happy with how this turned out after putting so much work into it.

Was it a one-man effort on your behalf? If so, it looks like you could use a few days of rest. Wink

Yeah, I've done zines with other people before but this was my first solo effort, thus why it's more art centric. I worked on it over two years or so though, in between my usual illustration work and moving around a lot.

I'm already chomping at the bit to start the second issue.

You're artwork rules so I'm sure the rest of it will also rule.

These are selling well, thanks to everyone for the support! Lining up a bunch of trades/wholesale now, please get in touch with Basar North America if you'd like to distribute this.

Finally got a chance to read through my copy last night and it was killer. There were quite a few bands I hadn't heard of, especially in the reviews section, so I've got plenty of new stuff to check out now. I also really enjoyed the interviews with the artists (caleb dickenson and danille gauvin) as well as The Crypt. I always like reading about people the contribute to the scene in different ways.

Thanks for putting out such a great zine. Can't wait for the next one.
