Great! NYHC is still the best. A.F,Killing Time,Judge,Cro-Mags,Madball and S.O.I.A. all released some classic albums.

Of course i still have something to nag about. I don't like the abrupt ending in 1990. Some of the the best HC albums were released in the early nineties. Cro-Mags:Alpha-Omega. S.O.I.A:Just look around. Madball:Setting it off and Demonstrating my style. Biohazards Urban Discipline. Agnostic Front:One Voice. These are top contenders for the HC top 10. They will be mentioned in the interviews and discographies though,i'm sure. I would've preferred an up to date to 2014 though.

Not really of interest to me personally but nice to see a scene based book about something other than the typical LA/DC scenes, or black metal..... Would love to see one about the 80's Scandinavian HC scene someday.

Somehow this book jogged a memory that I used to date a girl with a SOIA tattoo..... Evil or Very Mad Shocked Rolling Eyes

Yeah, this should be cool to check out.

I just hope they cover more then just the Youth Crew and Metal-Core that New York birthed.
That is to say,I hope the more pure Hardcore that came from that city/scene doesn't just get lightly mentioned as a foundation of what was to come after, but proportionately and rightly documented for what it was.

Well, of course Hardcore and NYHC continued well after 1990 and continues to this day. But I like the focus of NYHC's first 10 years for this book.
A 1991-2000's will be written one day.

Killer! This is pretty exciting, hopefully it has more YDL stories, ive read/heard a ton but always interested in hearing more. Same with Warzone and many more, but the skin/hc hybrid always rules reading about.

Hmm, I think I want this, there are a few other NYHC bands I wish were mentioned in the descriptor that would have really sold me on this, seems pretty fat though I'll have to wait and see, stuff like this would be nice to flip through before hand...

Interesting. Why were you interviewed? Curious to know what your involvement in the scene was/is. Ray Cappo, is that you?

Also very excited for this book.
