SIGH (Jpn): Infidel Art - STANDARD EDITION Official Gatefold 2LP set (Crypt 05)

Over the years, we have received a lot of feedback from fans and customers stating their budget doesn't allow for our luxurious editions or that all of the bonus tracks, poster or box isn't necessary and would simply prefer to have the vinyl in a straightforward, affordable format. Well, we finally listened!

The Crypt is honored to OFFICIALLY reissue SIGH's sophmore masterpiece "Infidel Art" on vinyl!

The LPs comes housed in a 350 gram, semi-gloss gatefold jacket featuring the original Ukiyo-e triptych illustration from Ichiryusai Hiroshige. As we always pride ourselves in using the original cover art for our releases, in this case we may have outdone ourselves. Rather than scan from an art book, we took the initiative to track down a private collector who owns an original 1845 Hiroshige Ukiyo-e print of the artwork, and were able to obtain amazing first generation, museum quality scans of this masterpiece.

To retain the classic feel of the original 1995 release, this gatefold is designed in the spirit of the original digipack with attention to detail, even down to the typeface, as well as well as exclusive band photos and liner notes by Mirai.

Additionally the bonus tracks "The Shadow King" and "The Zombie Terror (Far East Gate In Inferno Comp version)" will be included.

Limited to 500 copies, 200 copies will be on classic black wax and 300 on colored wax! Expect the same level of quality we have always presented: this time substantially less expensive and without all the bells and whistles! Coming in late 2014!

SIGH (Jpn): Ghastly Funeral Theatre + Tragedies Demo STANDARD EDITION Official LP (Crypt 06)

Over the years, we have received a lot of feedback from fans and customers stating their budget doesn't allow for our luxurious editions or that all of the bonus tracks, poster or box isn't necessary and would simply prefer to have the vinyl in a straightforward, affordable format. Well, we finally listened!

The Crypt is honored to OFFICIALLY reissue SIGH's masterpiece "Ghastly Funeral Theatre + Tragedies Demo" on vinyl!

The LP comes housed in a 350 gram, semi-gloss jacket featuring the entire un-edited Ukiyo-e illustration from Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
For the amazing cover art, we took the initiative to track down a museum in British Columbia that owns an original Kuniyoshi Ukiyo-e print from 1855, and were able to obtain a first generation, museum quality slide scan of this masterpiece.

To retain the classic feel of the original 1993 release, the LP jacket is designed in the spirit of the original CD layout with attention to detail - even down to the original typeface, as well as well as exclusive band photos and liner notes by Mirai. Also, the LP will include a 12" x 12" lyric insert in the set.

Limited to 500 copies, 200 copies will be on classic black wax and 300 on colored wax! Expect the same level of quality we have always presented: this time substantially less expensive and without all the bells and whistles! Coming in late 2014!

GFT will be but Infidel Art is now just a DLP in a gatefold jacket, hence, the "Standard" edition Smile

Awesome news, looking forward to both of these.

By the way, in the description for the "Infidel Art" vinyl you announced it as "Scorn Defeat" at the beginning of the paragraph. Just so you know! Wink

On some edition of Infidel Art, there was a little known alternative mix included. Anyone heard it? How does it sound?

Of course this is better than nothing for those who missed out on the previous press, but Infidel Art 3LP edition is a must because of "The Shadow King"...

"The Shadow King" is included on this version, only the Alternate miss is missing! I revised the text for this in the original post!

"Additionally the bonus tracks "The Shadow King" and "The Zombie Terror (Far East Gate In Inferno Comp version)" will be included."
