Loved Traitor's Gate, Virtue, Cloven Hoof, and a few others. There are literally scores of demos all over Youtube that get kind of samey, but there are lots of gems out there as well.

Bands like Tank, Girlschool, Rock Goddess, Angel Witch, Dumpys Rusty Nuts were all my local bands from South London.
There was another scene in North East England where I used to live. Venom, Tygers of Pan Tang, White Spirit, etc from Neat Records. I wouldn't be here now without these scenes. |
