The sole active band i want to mention is Hetroertzen.
Most bands are just unoriginal and stale, plus two of them have already been "awarded" the Fenriz Botw recently (Entrench, Suffer The Pain)...
I really wish Svarthymn would've continued longer. |

Most of the good metal bands in Texas get the attention they deserve or don't exist anymore. Most of my favorite active TX bands are punk/hardcore bands that definitely don't get the attention they deserve.

| Diamanthian - great old school DM, sadly both albums were marred firstly by being too messy, and secondly being too sterile. Great songs though and a fantastic live band! |
