| Someone should tell them this is a really fucking bad idea. Alienating your fans to gain a wider audience NEVER works.... |

Indeed. Trivium should have never done those photos. |

As much as I like Ghost, these pictures are horrible, Trivium or not. _________________

Did you guys really take Ghost seriously before these photos? they were obviously a novelty act to begin with.
I think that's what causes some people to be so critical of them. Many of their fans act like they are some higher art form, or something that is taking music to new places. They are obviously meant to be tongue in cheek. Eventually the illusion will wear off and all you'll be left with is a catchy, decent sounding band that mixes Mercyful Fate with Blue Oyster Cult.
The people that are spending hundreds of dollars on their 7" will be left feeling like suckers, and the kids that sold it to them will be laughing all the way to the bank. Aren't the tracks on that ep, on the full length anyway?

Ghost sounds NOTHING like TDB. You need to clean up that earwax dude. |

The pic disc is available on HHR for around $16. Repugnant is so much better but I doubt any new material will come around with as much time as Ghost takes up. Itd be billed as the "side band" of Ghost like they were new. Pics are gayer than all hell despite Ghost's mission. Fenriz is sad. _________________ good users |

Not trying to sound like an ass, but I don't think that's worth spending ridiculous amounts of money on. I could understand if you're a big fan and the tracks were exclusive to the 7".
However, I think most of the people paying that much are just collectors seeking rare items from popular bands. |

I'm neutral on Ghost, dislike Trivium intensely. But the photos don't seem like a huge deal to me. They look ridiculous of course, but it's clearly a joke. Ghost never seemed like a very self-serious thing to me anyway - there are plenty of other bands in metal taking themselves way too seriously, if you're into that. _________________

| BTW, I'm still looking for the RED WAX 7" from Ghost. And I don't mean the common version with black swirl but the PURE RED version. If anybody has that version for sale please PM me, thanks! |
