Curious to see what you think about this topic.
I know there are tons of other bands but i wanted to see which of these bands are the most popular here.
I have to go with Unleashed since "Where No Life Dwells" and "Shadows in the Deep" are two of my favorite Death metal albums.
Debut albums by Dismember and Grave are close though. |

Jag kan inte välja mellan Left Hand Path och Dark Recollections. _________________

have some problems in considering Merciless typical "old school swe-death"
anyway, the ancient gods...Entombed
but Grave (tremendous pain/into the grave era) were very close in my teen wet days _________________

Has to be Dismember for me. Like An Everflowing Stream just does it for me every time. _________________ Cliché moaning aside, has anyone actually listened to the LP yet? |

I agree. They dont really fit in with the other bands. Still wanted to include them since its basically the same kind of music and also same era. |

| I am not the biggest admirer of Ikea Death, but Carnage - Dark Recollections is my favourite album in this style. Also dig the Nihilist stuff and early Unleashed. But of the mentioned bands, Merciless is definitive my choice, although they are not 100% Death Metal to my ears. |

Dark Recollections or Into The Grave are probably my two fav full lengths of this style. Far too many out there to pick from though. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

| I'd pick Entombed because I love every full length they've released - except for that latest one. Uffe is an irreplaceable songwriter in my opinion, too bad he had to leave. |

| Dismember ... the first two albums and the last three are fantastic. Their mid-period got too melodic for my taste! |

Concerning GRAVE, am I the only one who prefer "You'll never see..." ? _________________
