'Tolling 13 Knell' has a more interesting sound but 'Buried in Time' is pretty good. Sure its Drape's weakest album, but it still gets my head banging. The overly polished production lets it down more than anything...

MD has never got really powerful productions, but they kinda went a bit flat on "Buried..." BUT in any way, this kicks the ass of most things released nowadays...and yeah, it has a more death metal sound, but I do not find anything wrong with it, it is the morbid kind of death metal sound.

"Tolling 13 Knell" is my favorite MD album. "Buried in Time" is solid black/death, but it's clearly a bit of a departure for the band - heavier, deathier, less atmospheric, more polished. Still a good album. It kind of fell through the cracks because a lot of fans of the old Drape didn't get it, and nobody else is checking for them.

This album sucks ass. I can't stand to listen to it.
Secret Sudaria is my fav. MD album. It has the same atmosphere as Sabbat disembody.

"Buried" is a very good album concerning the song-writing but the sound totally sucks...
"Tolling" has some great songs such as "Dreadful discovery". i have the cd version on my trade list.
Top MD album still remains "All the Withces Dance", no way...

| Fucking awful really...the artwork speaks volumes sadly. I didn't think the Drape could do any wrong. Waited for this to come out for a long time and knew it was going to suck as soon as they released the cover art. |
